Blue Peony is a very prominent feature in the Allsaints SS13 Collection. The striking print takes inspiration from a combination of photographic and paint techniques. It features beautiful bouquets of peonies which have been enhanced with tints of spring colours to provide an updated Spring design.
Garments with this design have been paired with pieces with a laid-back feel, excentuating relaxed fits, with clean finishes. Take for example the Medea dress; the use of diagonal pleating and the v-neck provide clean, sleek lines and a flattering feminine silhouette. This is whilst still maintaining a relaxed look. Mixed with the striking Peony designs, an interesting and refreshing twist for Spring is created.
